Step 10 – Publishing Your Website

Introduction

After constructing your website, you are ready to have customers view, shop, and purchase from it. The process of putting your website on the Internet is called publishing. Publishing your site is easy, but it should not be a one-time event. Every time you make a change to your site, you must republish to make the change available to visitors on the Internet. For that reason, your account allows you to publish and republish your site as often as you would like.

This step outlines the process of publishing your account files to the Internet.

1.	Select the Publish menu and then ensure you are within the Publish submenu.
	Notice the information within the Publish submenu. It lists the various components that comprise your website in terms of products, pages, and forms. There is also a comment section for you to add comments to a particular publication (see below).
2.	In the Comment field, add comments regarding this individual publication (optional). Comments of most value will describe what changes you made to your site and any other information that will be important to you later on. When you publish your site, this comment will be shown in the publishing history (see below).
3.	You must read the Terms and check the I accept these terms box (see below).
4.	Finally, select the Publish button. This will publish your account files to the Internet (your account files will be live on the Internet).
