Introduction

There are several ways in which you can display (list) a product on a page. For instance, you can choose to display products on a background layer, on a page, as a featured list, etc. You can also display products according to categories, within tables, within bulleted lists, and more. The instructions below use the Preview mode to add product-related elements to a layer.
Activity 1: Listing Products on a Page

1. Select the Pages menu and ensure you are in the Pages submenu.
2. Double-click an existing page row (or you may click [highlight] the page row, and then select the Edit button).
3. Click the Preview button.
4. The Pull-down menu next to the Layout checkbox will determine which layer you are working on. If you wish to add product elements to the background layer, select the Background name; if you wish to add product elements to the page, select the Page name from the menu.

Background layers will only be displayed in the Pull-down menu when a background is applied to the page you are editing. For more information about Page and Background Layers, see the Help system.

5. After selecting which layer you wish to add the element to, select one of the product elements from the element Pull-down menu and then click the Add button.

See Below for Product-Related Element descriptions.

6. As you select the Add button the element was placed on the layer. Typically you will find the new element at the bottom of the center column. If you want to add the element to a specific location, select an existing element on the layer in the desired location and then repeat step 6.
7. If you then want to edit the element, double-click the Element on the page and make the appropriate selections.
